A Wells Fargo PAID 10 CENTS (large letters) frank on a front showing laid lines and blue lining, pasted up on an opened pre-addressed Chihuahua merchants envelope for attachment to package, paid with 6¢ in added 3982 (Chihuahua 1882) stamps. Stamps cancelled Chihuahua (Nov. 27, 1882). Two Wells Fargo Chihuahua cancels (Nov. 28), for transmission to Albuquerque. A striking piece, in good condition. Bamert (page 273) WF-MX1.
