Here is a gorgeous and rare Leica/Leitz screw-mount LTM 135mm Elmar f4.0 lens, in the original plastic "bubble" case with the original price sticker. This lens is near-perfect, no real marks, scratches, etc. It looks like it was never used. Glass is absolutely clear, without any haze, scratches or fungus. There are some miniscule dust particles that should not affect shooting, but that's it.
These ...screw-mount Elmars are scarce. I believe there were less than 3, 500 ever made. This makes sense, since the serial number places this one to 1962, which is already 8 years after the Leica M3 made its debut, and years after Leica ceased production of the screw-mount, Barnack Leicas. You will not find a better example of this lens. Can also be used on M-cameras, with an appropriate LTM-to-M adapter.
