LARGE PAIR c1800 CHINESE JIAQING FAMILLE ROSE IMPERIAL FIGURES SCENIC VASE LAMPSAMAZNG ESTATE TREASURE AUCTION INCLUDNG FINE ASIAN ARTS Hello, thank you for having a look at our auctions! Up for auction is a large pair of early 19th century Chinese Jiaqing period famille rose porcelain vases mounted as lamps. The vases are astonishing examples being some of the finest examples of the period we have personally seen. The vases have a nice faceted form with original lids and finely painted imperial figure landscape designs all around. What else is very unique about the vases is the great and finely detailed figural Buddha side handles, which we have personally never seen on another pair like this I am sure a very rare feature to find.
The vases themselves are an impressive large size measuring 18 1/2 inches tall, by 9 inches wide, and 4 1/2 inches deep. The vases with lamp mounts measures 36 inches tall in total. The vases show some minor nicks and minor glaze imperfections consistent with their very old age. The vases are otherwise in substantially fine condition as seen with no cracks, and no repairs. A very impressive and beautiful pair being offered without reserve!
