They don't spalt much more gorgeous than this !  This is aged black lace spalted Lama.  Lama is an upland forest tree in the ebony family with very hard wood. Try to find Lama for sale on line - even without this level of spalt.  The 10 blanks you're looking at are bone dry, have hard ivory wood with nice lace pattern black-line spalt. They will make stunningly beautiful pens!! The wood is just so Amazing… the perfect... platform for fine art. Cut 1+ inch square by 6+ to 8+ inches long! These are oversized!
