Antique CL Guinand Locle Split Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch Movement!
Much of the time when you operate the chronograph it works correctly. BUT I note that one spring (shown in last picture) can jump off the lever it is putting tension on and then re-setting won't work until you tweezer it back in place. It is possible that the clean/adjust/oil would remedy this fault. But I just don't know for sure. Also the split hand is sluggish to rejoin the main sweep second hand if you sto...p and start it. The watch does wind and tick and the hands can be set.MORE CONDITION:It is quite dirty and has unknown service history. Likely needs a clean and oil to work optimally. Edge chip from dial near 1 o'clock. Possible that a sweep hand has piece missing at rear. Some oxidation. Missing a plate screw. Missing part of the regulator.
High grade movement SOLD FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. Comes with original crown/stem + pusher and screw for split function. Also steel plate and screws for holding pusher and screw inside rim of case.
Dial is approx. 41.67mm in diameter.
There may be additional issues I am not aware of - I am not an expert on chronographs. Don't expect to just case it and have it run perfectly. It needs some attention.
