Welcome to Décor Arts LLCUp for consideration is a beautiful Large Meissen Stoneware Bottger Eagle Figurine by Paul Walther c 1924-33. 100% Guaranteed Authentic. The figurine is signed on the back with the Meissen crossed swords and Paul Walthers Initials. I am sure it is marked on the underside of base but it is secured on what appears to be the original wood stand. This figurine is very rare it has a limited edition of 11. It measures approx. 13.5" tall on wood stand. The Bottg...er stoneware is in very good condition for its age, one tiny nick under the very tip of the beak and a small flee bite back stepped foot under signature. The wood stand is in good order with a few scuffs, possibly had a plaque on back side at one time. Definitely one of the rarest Meissen bottger examples ever made. Offered with no reserve.
