CIRCA: 1900
I've been fortunate to own and see quite a few fascinating Daum Nancy cameo pieces. This is possibly the most interesting one I have seen to date. The cameo cut design is amazing. They are what are known as Milkweed pods, here in the U.S. but also resemble sea mines that were used to sink ships during wartime. It is really an interesting vase, and arguably will stir quite a bit of conversation when displayed among your collection. It is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, flakes or repairs. Beautiful mottle orange ground color, with green leaves and black pods. Signed lower right and also having an incised what I believe is a retail store wording which I have been unable to decipher. I know there were a number of retail stores that offered Daum vases in their stores back in the early 1900's, and typically the pieces were incised with their Retail store name. The vase is approximately 8" tall. I unconditionally guarantee, with a 100% money back return, that this vase is an authentic Daum Nancy vase. The last few images are items not offered in this listing, however they are currently listed in my other Ebay listings. Combined shipping available where safe and practical.
