This is a wonderful vintage early Weller Burntwood large arts and crafts pottery vase with wonderful design of continuous birds as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The vase for its age is in very nice condition, with no major chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The vase does show some slight wear and two small inner rim nicks/chips on the inner dark brown band as shown. The vase is not marked as much of this line was not. This line was common for inside glazing and ...outside non-glazed areas. This vase is large for this line measuring about 6 1/2 inches tall by a little over 8 and 1/2 inches wide. Again, the design work with birds, trees, and symbols is just spectacular. This piece would look fantastic in anyone’s vintage Weller or arts and crafts pottery collection.
