1863 Quebec Legislative Assembly Cover, Registered, Christopher Dunkin MPP Signature
Cover sent free, registered, with Legislative Assembly shield and registered oval from Quebec to Drummondville.
Endorsed by Christopher Dunkin M.P.P., a strong force against Canadian confederation, his full signature at lower left.
Cover also has a light Quebec changeling postmark on front MAY 11 and straightline Registered.
On back is a mostly indistinct Quebec & Richmond r.p.o. tr...ansit, Melbourne transit and Drummondville receiver MY 13 1863.
Note: appears that the backflap was refolded across top prior to mailing. No contents. Rough opening at top on back.
