NB:we are happy to accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or cash on collectionan extremely fine example of an art nouveau pewter tea caddy, this design comes in two sizes, this is the smaller and rarer of the two, measuring 4.25" diameter at the lid & 4" high to the lid, produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and orivit were producing similar pieces of art n...ouveau pewter, made by William hair haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, they also made the cymric range of art nouveau silver ware, fully marked to the base with the design number 0102 dating to around 1902/3 and the rare tudric made by liberty & co stamp. easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox and others, in this case the inverted hearts / arrowheads to the body are typical of the designs of cya voysey , the pewter is a gently polished condition, lifting the drop in lid reveals the interior which is clean and without corrosion so a really superb and impressive display piece, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.
