Vintage Leica M2 35mm Rangefinder Camera. This is a vintage camera. I believe it was made about 1960 base on an online database. I am not very familiar with the camera but I've walked through it with an online user manual a couple of times. I cannot find anything not working. The shutter fires at all speeds, sounds appropriate but it does not appear to fully close until cocked. I took one photo after cocking (#9) and one after firing (#10) this may be normal, I don't know. The cocking ...lever sticks a little intermittently. The viewfinder is clear. The viewfinder frame lines change with the finder frame selector. With a lens attached (not included) the focus patch comes into focus. The timer works. I checked the transport with a dummy roll and it is working. The frame counter is working. Cosmetically, I don't see anything obviously broken. It has visible wear from use and age. There are minor dents in one corner (photo #4 & #11). Please view all photos for condition. It has not been checked in any way for accuracy or with any external device or with film except to check the transport. Please ask questions if you have them.
I'm selling this As Is with no warranty of any type, implied or otherwise simply because of it's age. I have given an honest opinion/description as it sits now, based on my knowledge of the camera. I cannot guarantee something won't change, again, simply because of it's age. I could also miss a flaw for the same reason. I received the camera from the family of the original owner. It's been in storage for quite a while.
