This is a vintage 1957 Gibson J-45 dreadnought acoustic. It could be safe to say this is one of the most recorded guitars in history with a sound that is instantly recognizable once you've heard it once. This iconic acoustic guitar sounds big, bold, and balanced, with excellent volume and focus.
This particular J-45 has an adjustable bridge, and was long ago refinished - and done well. Likely during its refin, its tuners were changed to Kluson Double Lines instead of the origin...al Single Line. It has a couple of sealed cracks on its back that were professionally repaired. Otherwise, it is in great condition, and sounds truly amazing. Nothing comes close to the way this guitar sounds!
It has been professionally set up and comes with a vintage Guild hardshell case.
