Here is a wonderful antique (mid to late 19th century) Paper cut silhouette portrait of a woman in feathered hat. It has some hand painted black ink or black paint details.
It is housed in its original period frame with gold paint on front. You can see how old the frame is by the way the corners are joined with metal pins and the tiny holes on the sides.There is a bit of wear to the gold but its commensurate with its age.
The frame dimensions are 5 7/8" x 5 1/4". Their is s...ome faint writing on the back which may be the name of the woman pictured. I cannot make it out. I have not taken this apart to see if there is any additional info and will leave that to it's new owner to decide.
