This evening I will be offering some of my favorite and extremely rare vintage Barbie items for sale. This auction is for a RARE #1 or #2 TM Brunette Ponytail Barbie Box! The box is very sturdy with vintage discoloration. There is a lot of tape on this box. I can't see any reason for the older, dark brown, thin tape. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the box top or bottom under the tape. I see no splits or tears but I can't say whether or not the tape can be removed without ...damaging the box. The tape on the lower left corner (the wider, lighter colored tape) might be holding together a split corner. Overall this is a very good example of one of the earliest Barbie doll boxes and a rare find! Please examine the pictures closely!This rare Barbie box would be a wonderful addition to any vintage Barbie collection and, also, an amazing Christmas gift!I have done my very best to give you an accurate description of this rare doll box but I may have missed some minor imperfections.
