THE MOVEMENT IS Pendant wind and lever set. IT IS SIGNED “Ball Watch Co.; Cleveland, Ohio; 23 jewels; Adjusted 5 Positions; Trademark Official Standard; serial number B617437 (1925)! This watch has a solid gold center wheel gear (the big gear in the center is cut from solid gold), Solid gold train of gears (each and every gear in this watch is cut from solid gold), solid gold balance screw weights, solid gold screwed in jewel settings, ruby train jewels, sapphire pallet jewels, jeweled winding barrel (motor barrel), fantastic damascening and polished screws! No expense was spared in the making of this fine timepiece.
The plates were made to Ball’s specifications and were cased, adjusted and regulated in-house by Ball. The movement is in excellent physical and mechanical condition – running perfectly. The balance has perfect poise and a strong fast beat! This is the model “1”.
