Unique Vintage Briggs And Stratton 2hp Engine 60102 Type 1015, Visible Crankcase

This is a unique Briggs and Stratton 2hp engine 60102 type 1015 with a visible crankcase. Engine has a 1/2 inch piece of plexi-glass/lexan on the output shaft side of the engine. The inner workings of the crank. cam, and connecting rod oiler system is easily viewed. I do not know if this is from the factory or was a project by someone. If it was a project they did an outstanding job with excellent fit and finish and no leaks. Carrying strap attached to the head and it is mounted on a p...lywood base with felt on the bottom. I bought it at auction and did not expect it to run. The oil looked exceptionally clean like it was just changed.  I drained and added fresh gas and a squirt in the carb and it started first pull. It will not stay running unless gas is continually misted into the carb. I assume the carb has deposits in it from storage. No smoke. An easy fix if you are at all handy. The engine is in very nice cond. cosmetically. Output shaft measures approx. 5/8"x1 7/8". $20.00 shipping.
