Notre Dame Rare Football Rockne 1924 Nebraska Four Horsemen Post Card Postcard. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.Really great post card commemorating Notre Dame's big win over Nebraska in 1924. The famous Four Horsemen led the team to victory and Rockne and Notre Dame to their first national championship. It wasn't the final game of the season, but, as the content on the back demonstrates, people were crowning ND after this win. Nebraska, of course, had given Notre Dame and the Fo...ur Horsemen their only loss in 1923. The back also mentions the infamous fight against the KKK and the belief that many Nebraska fans who made the trip were members of that organization. Stunning piece of history!Make offers!
