Original Description:
This Steiff teddy from the early 1900s has black shoe button eyes, stitched nose and felt pads.  He has the long arms and hump back that are characteristic of bears from the early  years.  He is jointed five ways.  He has experienced mohair loss and thinning over the course of his vintage life.  His interior excelsior stuffing has shifted and become uneven which makes him looser in his left arm and upper chest, and firmer in his lower torso and other ...limbs.  His voice box can be easily squeezed but no longer makes any sound.  His right paw has been repaired with stitching.  Unfortunately Teddy's ID is no longer intact.  He smells fresh and clean.  He is approximately 100 years old and still retains all the warm character and quality that makes Steiff plush bears and animals so timeless.  He measures approximately 12" in length.
