Gibson 1959 ES-345 Stereo Sunburst with P.A.F 100% all Original Vintage with stop tail piece. This is the first year of production and introduction guitar inside has a “S” serial stamped and the Kalamazoo orange label with serial number. The 1959 is the most sought after neck profile.Original 1959 Gibson Frets, The original 1959 P.A.F, varnish showing checkered lines consistent with Gibson 1959 production the guitar has never had a break, cracks, repair, refinish re fret job e...ver, The guitar will be sold as in intact I will not sell the parts, P.A.F pickups pick guard. All electronics work and produce a an amazing tone with the rosewood Brazilian board. The Gibson brown case is in great shape considering it’s age.
I haven’t played it much since the purchased years ago from a reputable Vintage Guitar dealer, in the business past 50 years, the previous original one owner was a Jeweler and part time musician in the UK, the Pickup Covers, stop tail piece and were gilded with 24k by the previous owner at his workshop, and re soldered back, cable appears to be spliced and put back. This was done in the late 70’s. So the gold patina still looks used.P.A.F all original the guitar sounds just amazing. The 1st fret board has small indentation constant by playing rhythm Jazz/Blues guitar. The fret board and frets all original Gibson Kalamazoo Factory from 1959, some of the plastic covering the fret board have shrunk due to age, most of the factory plastic covered is visible consistent with the age of this guitar. Never Had a re fret Job original 1959 Frets.I will not sell outside eBay don’t even ask all communications through eBay messaging. No impulse buyers. If you need more pictures please ask prior bidding this is a 60 years old vintage guitar time capsule extremely rare to find without bigsby modified holes as in most 335, 345. The jack takes a stereo Jack, regular mono jack will only play one pick up, this is a stereo guitar, please look around and inform yourself if you’re not familiar with this model.
