This item is an antique vintage right handed 38 3/4" wooden shafted iron made by Tom Stewart of St Andrews Scotland. It is a Mid Iron that is well worn and the pipe mark is hard to make out. I can see what looks like King on the back. Michael Brady often used King on his clubs so this might have been made for him by Stewart. Very worn dots on the face. The head is clean and not all rusted. It does show the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom... pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. It is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. The grip is and old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. 28* loft and a B 5 swingweight for play. If you are considering playing with this all hickory shafted irons should be re-set prior to play. While I see no issues with the shaft, I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball.Shipping in the US is via USPS Priority Mail and is calculated based on an 2 pound box.
