Rare Vintage Next Launch Poster, 2 original documents, and original black mailing tube.
While attending college in Boston, MA at Northeastern University I had the privilege of attending Next Computers Launch event. I don't recall whether this was held on campus or off campus. During that event they gave the attendees a black mailing tube filed that contained a poster, a copy of report on desktop publishing on Next, and a small pamphlet showing the screens of the Nex...t Computer system.
I apparently took home 2 of those tubes that day. I sold one on EBay about 3 or 4 years ago and I recently found this other one in my stuff. You can see evident of this in my seller ratings. That listing shows up around bottom of page 2 of items sold for me.
The poster included in this auction is not pristine as this I hung in my dorm room. There is a pin tack hole in each of the 4 corners of the poster. There's also some creases on the left side of the poster, more noticeable on the bottom left of the image. I've tried to take pictures that shows them. The creases are a little easier to see on the back then on the front. There's also a small crease by the "The Next Level" wording. There are some edge creases and mark all along the poster on all edges.
The other two promotional material items seem to be okay which makes since since they lived in the black mailing tube. The tube is the same one I was given many years ago.
I'm in no way an expert in poster ratings and I've attempted to describe this accurately. Please ask questions and I'll happily attempt to answer them.
I can see from another listing this poster has been reproduced. This is not a reproduction. This is the original poster I received in 1988.
Shipped with USPS First Class in a mailing tube.
