Original Description:
This is a antique 'Ansonia' clock, manufactured by Ansonia Clock Co. NY, USA. The clock is a wind up, with pendulum and key. Shelf/Mantal mount, though could be hung on the wall. The clock stands 20 1/4" tall total x 4 1/2" depth x 12 1/2" wide at the widest point. As the photos show the door is etched, and swings open. 5 1/2" white face diameter. Roman Numerals. Two wind up slots for time and bell. I wound the clock up and it ticked for 16 hours then it stopped, though there was wind ...left in the spring, I pushed the pendulum to get the clock going again and it ran again for approx 16 hours. The dinger works on every 1/2 hour though the dong is faint and I did not try to adjust it. The clock runs fast and I did not attempt to adjust it The white face is faded/dirty, between the 10th and 11th hour, on the face, as best shown in the last 12th photo. I did not attempt to clean it. All the innards of the clock are clean, as I tried to show in the photos. I hope the pictures help. Thanks.
