I’m selling this MiSTer FPGA kit. NOW WITH THE MiSTer IO board 6.0. The latest and the most powerful “Emulation” retro and Linux device at the same time. This is the best of the best to run all type of platforms. Why? Because, recently there are a lot of boards that they make just Emulation of the platform. Then when they Emulate there are always issues and big problems, complex configurations that not always run and also you need to wait to the loading of the Operative System an...d this can take a lot of time and the process ends in a tired process.
The kit in this announce, really although is used the word “Emulation”, is not “Emulation” because, it reproduces 100% the core of the platform to use, is like if you were using the exact replica of the platform without Emulate. When you turn in is as if you were using the old system to replicate, is there in seconds. You take more time turn on the TV that the time this beauty kit turns on, in seconds. It’s very powerful! Then is incredible because this is the latest and more powerful of these type of systems. It’s based on Linux and in the powerful Terassic DE 10 Nano Board. It means it’s not just the MiSTer board what does the job, it also is connected to serve with much more power with the Terassic DE 10 Nano Board. This kit includes the extra SDRAM and the USB Hub to have more ports available. You have unlimited possibilities with this. Also you have your mini Linux and strong computer and if you wish you can install Windows 95 or DOS, the power is unlimited. With just the Terassic DE 10 Nano Board you can make incredible things, with the mister you are totally armed. If you want to use by separate the Terassic DE 10 Nano Board has incredible arduino and you can make complex things if you have knowledge in Linux, arduino, and coding. You can supply this kit with Micro SD Memories.
In other places to construct properly this kit, you will find a part here, other part there and you will need to make a lot of research. In this bid everything is ready and tested just to run.
The kit includes all the pack required to run including the MiSTer Board with heath sink and power supply included, the DE 10 Nano Board, the extra memory SDRAM, the USB hub 1.2 and the MiSTer IO Board 6.0. Will be very hard you can find the assembly totally done and ready to run at this price.
We are now shipping the Version 1.2 upgraded with bracket safe that will be included to you for free. This new bracket is amazing because it avoid to have a loss cable, false connections, or broken connectors. Also, as I said before, now there is included the 6.0 of the MiSTer IO board, the latest and most powerful model. Is included what is listed and everything is already assembled, tested and working. It’s not included a Memory Micro SD. It comes with the default 32meg memory for free. If you want to update to 128meg, there is an extra cost of 80 US. If you want at the end of the bid inform us that you want the 128meg memory. The 128meg memory will allow you to play 100% of the NEO GEO Library and much better performance in other cores.
Includes power supply but for free we include a connector that will allow you to use a any USB charger to supply your MiSTer if you wish.
There is the option that if you want a preconfigured Memory Micro SD to just plug and play, then at the end of the bid send me a message and for extra $60 US, I will include all pre configured in a 128 GB Memory Micro SD with everything you need to run your device. I suggest you take this option of the micro SD to avoid the hassle and trouble to configure or have errors. Believe me, it took me several days to make this up and running and I saw in several places people is stuck in some configurations and nobody answered or helped to solve. In the memory I offer you there is installed all Cores, Linux, Computers and Arcades configurations, just use. In other words is everything that exists for this magnificent device ready to run.Like the content is free in Internet, then I‘m not charging any cost for it. The price I’m charging in the Memory Micro SD is the price of the memory and the work to configure only. You will not be disappointed that’s for sure and you will have a Memory Micro SD that hardly you will find in other place. Of course, the only thing you need to provide in your home is your own content with the ROMS of the games of the Cores you want to play but is very easy to do. What is it?MiSTer is a port of well known MiST project to a larger FPGA and faster ARM. MiSTer provides modern video output through HDMI (VGA and analog audio are still available on daughter board). It's based on Terasic DE10-nano board. Here are some improvement over the MiST board:* Altera Cyclone V SE FPGA with 110, 000LE (41, 500ALM) and 5, 570Kbit of Block RAM.* ARM Cortex A9 dual-core CPU at 800MHz.* HDMI video and audio allowing connect to any modern monitor/TV.* DDR3 1GB available for both ARM and FPGA.* High speed ARMFPGA interconnect due to both are in the same chip.* Linux on ARM provides support for many I/O devices and file systems.* Board is mass-produced by a large manufacturer and freely available for a relatively cheap price 130USD (99USD for students/professors).Due to a larger FPGA, bigger systems can be created. It's also possible to add more support from ARM side. For example TZX tape format can be parsed on ARM and then send to FPGA. Firmware is not limited by code size or available RAM. It'e even possible to emulate some parts of system on ARM which is not available in FPGA (so-called hybrid emulator).MiSTer scales original video resolution to a standard HDMI resolution (usually 1280x720p60), so you don't need to look for some ancient monitor with VGA input supporting non-standard resolution and frame rates. This board is useful if you prefer VGA over HDMI or you want to put the MiSTer inside a case. This board also helps for core development (HDMI scaler code requires around twice more time to compile). Compiling for VGA-only will speed up the development. Linux?DE10 uses Linux for house-keeping duties such as loading data from the SD card. It may feel that Linux may take considerable time to boot, but it isn't the case. The version used by MiSTer has been optimized to only take a couple of seconds to boot. Most monitors and TV requires longer time to lock on the video signal and start to display, so the result is that the MiSTer feels instant-on like original hardware back in the day.
