MADE IN USA OLD LOGO ZENITH DATA SYSTEMS NUMBER PAD Model - ZA-3034-NP
I opened it up and gave it a basic cleaning...see picture
I didn't want to remove all the keys and risk breaking a key stem or key switch
So just a basic clean around the keys and underneath them...board in good condition for age
The connector looks proprietary like a PS/2 but one less pin as pictured
The black plastic pin the the connector has sheared off...but should be fine but use care not t...o twist connector when hooking up
The black plastic pin in this type connector is there mainly to prevent twisting and bending the pins
Old collectable USA made Zenith Number Pad with the more rare logo
I see more of the model ZA-3034-NP with the newer Tree Logo
I think this was for old Zenith laptops as most keyboards had built in number pads at this time
The Key Switches are what used to be Alps Type slider key switches...as there is no Alps logo on the key switch body
And the slider is not the same shape as an Alps but functions in a similar manner
