This is Strawberry Shortcake Ballerina, loose doll with accessories (near complete, missing stand). Doll is a "loose" meaning, out of box, played with vintage toy. I started buying and selling Shortcakes in order to complete a collection for my daughter over 10 yearsago. In the process, I became obsessedwith these little dolls from my childhood. I have amassed quite a collection and now I like to buy and resell themin order to save these dolls for future generati...ons. There are just no contemporary dolls thatcompare! Most of the dolls that I buyneed TLC. I give them that by cleaningthem, hand washing the clothes, shoes and pets. I check them for VD spots and try to put each doll back closest tooriginal specs whenever I can. But, unless specified as "mint", then doll is considered a loose, playedwith vintage toy. Please expect some amount of wear and use. Withthat said, I spend a lot of time cleaning dolls and clothes to put sets backtogether. I throw out anything that has vinyl deterioration on thefaces. I do not always throw out a body or head that has a contained spotin a hidden area (legs, under the hair, feet). The vinyl deterioration is not contagious and will not spread as long asthe dolls are stored properly- ventilated when in high humidity environments orstored with desiccant. I throw out anyclothes that are really stained or ripped. Each doll may have minorvariations, color discolorations, marks or factory production defects that Icannot control. If the doll is listed then I feel that it is a good loosespecimen, appropriate for any collection or for play. Please do not ask me about scent as thesedolls are over 30 years old and have been handled and washed, besides the factthat smell is subjective and is probably not going to smell as you remember it, sadly. Dolls, clothes, pets and shoes are now selling for outrageous prices, therefore my prices have gone up to cover my costs and make a smallprofit. If you buy an uncleaned doll, you will recognize the difference. This doll is dressed correctly, and comes with several of the original accessories, but is missing the pink doll stand. I believe the rest of the original clothes and accessories are correct. Her body is poseable.
