Rare, genuine CBS-era Fender Jazzmaster pearloid back guard in good condition.
Very rare pearloid back layer, vintage white/cream top layer. Reproduction guards never seem to be able to get this color right. This one is a solid example of that cream color.
The pearloid backing is highly unusual, quite rare actually, and dates this guitar to the later half of the 1960s.
In good condition, no cracks or repairs. Normal surface swirls and wear, some light splotchy discolorat...ions. A solid survivor.
Hole locations may not totally line up on your guitar due to normal celluloid shrinking/warping and the somewhat individualistic hand-cut nature of these early pickguards, so please be aware of that before purchasing and have realistic expectations that it may not be a perfect, precise 1:1 fit on your Jazzmaster. This is common for all vintage pickguards.
