(2) Vintage Genalex Gold LionKT88 Black PlateOutput Tubes ~ 6550 ~ RARE! Up for sale is an extremely rare pair of Genalex Gold Lion KT88 output tubes. These are also known as a 6550 tube type. Blackburn UK manufacture with black plates. Date codes are "TK' and "TL". The printing on the tubes is in very nice condition as seen in the photos. Highly sought after! Both tubes were tested on my Dan Nelson restored and calibrated TV7 tester. Test... results are as follows with 44 being the minimum value (65%), low NOS is 58 (85%) and NOS is 68 (100%):
