South Bend 9" 6 Position Indexing Turret Tailstock Rare . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
This is one of the nicer parts of my lathe collection. I am not a collector however and since I do not use it is is just in the way. This is an early style South Bend 9" turret tailstock. This was a $120.00 option back when these lathes were $300 NEW. This piece is in great shape other than the original handle being lost. There are 6... locations for tools and a stop for each. It will be broken down slightly for shipping but everything pictured is included.
I have seen both part number CL2045N and TST 101N for these, I am not sure which one is correct. I can not make out the part number on this one without damaging the paint.
Before this landed in my lap I had only ever seen this style in pictures, I am not sure when another like it will be listed. Good Luck!
The Shipping Price is high because this thing weighs 30lbs! I will try to fit it into a large flatrate box and if I can save on shipping I will refund the difference. I am not trying to increase my profits with a shipping scam. If shipping costs turn out higher I will pay that out of pocket.
