Up for grabs is a beautiful example of this Asahi Auto Takumar 35mm f/2.3 M42 screw mount prime lens. It has been fully tested, and functions 100%. It comes with front and rear lens caps, and a Kenko 62mm UV filter. Will come in a nice soft case, not pictured.This lens is hard to find with this quality, and most will be untested and from Japan. I am a knowledgable USA seller, and stand behind all my equipment. Most 2.3's will not perform how you hope, and many are 8 bladed!This i...s a 10-blade, retrofocus lens, famous for its wonderful swirly bokeh. This is still my favorite bokeh lens, and I've owned a bunch at this point. This lens was made with a softer glass, and examples are near impossible to find without scratching and cleaning marks. This example has immaculate glass!Glass Elements: All elements are extremely clean. With no haze, fungus, scratching, or cleaning marks. There is minor interior dust that in no way affects image quality.Body and Barrell: Clean with virtually no signs of use. There is no scratching, dings, or wear of any color.Focus: The focus on this lens is the smoothest I've ever had on an 10 blade 2.3. These lenses have a tendancy to dry out and tighten up, but this example is still smooth as ever!Diaphragm: The blades are clean, dry, and snappy, with virtually no marks at all. Aperture lock works perfectly.Other Notes: There are some very minor particles and dusting on the interior elements, something that is guaranteed for a lens this age - this in NO WAY affects image quality.
