Original Description:
The 1850 was the first commercially available camera tube, introduced in 1938 by RCA. It was used in studio cameras through World War Two and in film chains into the 50s.
This is a great collectible and showpiece. Has not been tested but looks to be in good condition.

On Dec-13-19 at 18:47:02 PST, seller added the following information:Tested filament. At 6.0 volts, filament glowed and drew .59 amps. Last photo shows filament glowing.
