With "Lever-Wind" Shutter-Set & Film Advance. 6X6 cm. images on readily available 120 film.
By SEM Societe Des Establissments Modernes (One of the Best French camera manufacturers). Serial N° 386976 stamped on the bottom right. In Superb and Full Working Unused with film condition.
Berthiot Flor Four Element Coated and fully Color Corrected f:3.5 75MM Taking Lens and Berthiot f:2.8 Viewing lens Leaf Shutter with speeds from 1 sec. to 1/400 sec.& B.
There is a "Magnifying" ground glass Viewing lens which produces a Very Bright image on the ground glass and makes focusing very easy even in dark places.There are also "Engraved lines" for image framing.
In Superb Unused, Original Condition Externally and Internally.
The Lenses are both clean no scratches, cleaning marks or fungus and only the very slightest amount of internal dust. Focusing is very Accurate..
The shutter works at all speeds as well as the Self-Timer and I believe are accurate.
The Black rough grained covering is complete and in Perfect Condition.
The Very Attractive Satin and Matte Black lacquer trim is in Perfect condition.
There are No signs internally that the camera has ever been used with film. i did test it before listing and it works perfectly.
The Viewfinder opens correctly. The Magnifier lens gives detailed focusing on the ground glass.
There is a "Depth of Field" Guide guide around the distance scale.
The camera was cleaned, lubricated and adjusted by a qualified camera repair just before listing. Please see all "High Definition" photos of the actual camera for condition. Purchased as a collectible for display and always carefully stored.
In "ready to use" condition and add to the most discriminating vintage camera collection. I believe it would be difficult if not impossible to find a better example of this Rare and very attractive TLR camera. You will see 10, 000 Rolleis before finding another Semflex "OtO" in this exceptional condition.
The Semflex 3.5 B was sold almost exclusively in France and in limited quatities. The price was the equvalent to about two months of the average workers wages.
