RARE Silver Sony Walkman WM - 10 Portable Cassette Player BELT READ

For sale is a rare, vintage Silver Sony Walkman WM-10 Portable Cassette Player.Cosmetically, the unit is in good condition. There are many tiny blemishes to the body from regular use. However, NO cracks or dents! Super clean internals! Definitely shows signs of wear but still looks very nice!Functionally, everything works but with a couple of minor exceptions! The belt was replaced on 11/9/19. FF and REW are pulling strong and PLAY puts out great sound. There are only two issues to not...e:A.) The battery compartment cover does not lock in place. With the tape door closed, it should hold but no idea if it would stay put through more violent bumps. B.) Fast Forward works fine and pulling strong as mentioned above, however to engage it you must keep the button held down. (It locks in place as usual, you just have to apply a tiny bit of extra pressure.) Aside from those two things, everything works perfectly fine. The FF issue has to do with dirty or misaligned contact switches. You can feel free to open up the Walkman and correct this yourself if you have experience - I just decided to leave it alone.
