ABC WEEKEND SPECIAL 1983, Very well done short…Scary…A part of the ABC WeekendSpecial, the 1980's showcased such subject matters that would be considered tooadult theme for today's child audience. The Red Room Riddle is a great example.The story-line is very creepy, even so to the theme of ghosts and haunting's. Partof the riddle starts when we are intr...oduced to the creepy old woman, then thecreepy kid dressed in out-dated clothes, and finally the creepy old man in thefirst ten minutes. There are so many quick clues that pop up during the moviesuch as the dog skull. This oddness continues as we witness the red floatingorb. At this point a blind man can see that the house is haunted, but to achild audience, the reasoning behind the haunting is a mystery. PLEASE NOTE:I am not an expert, but a very fussy collector of film, and believe that fulldisclosure is the only policy. HERE IS WHAT I WOULD WANT TO KNOW IF I WERE BUYING THIS PRINT!!!
