TOKINA RMC 17mm f/3.5 - stunning super-wide angle lens, very rare M42 mount

Comes with original front and rear capsAs far as vintage, super-wide angle lenses go, this has to be one of the best!
Designed for SLR cameras, it easily covers up to full frame sensors, such as Sony A7 series. On such sensors, the field-of-view is remarkably wide, whilst still maintaining low distortion.
The lens features:
- lower contrast for that vintage look
- st...unning, warm colours
- good sharpness for a vintage wide angle
- M42 mount, which is easily adapted to most modern cameras. The M42 version of this lens is very difficult to come by; it took me years to find a copy in such good optical condition
- It can flare quite easily, but renders as beautiful rainbow flares – stunning!
Condition:
- Good general condition, with external traces of use (see pictures)
- Functional, with clean glass – no marks on either element!
- Clean aperture and focus mechanics, without error
- NO fungus, mould or balsam cemented separation
- There may be a speck of dust inside the glass but the picture quality is not affected in any way
- Clean mount.
Sad to say goodbye to this little gem; I simply own too many lenses
