This is a Rollei 35 Viewfinder 35mm film camera. When production moved from Germany to Singapore there was a shortage of Tessar lenses so Rollei used a Xenar lens temporarily. These cameras are far less common than the Tessar versions. Serial number: 3306985
Physical Condition:
This camera is in very nice condition. No significant dents or dings which are very common on these cameras. Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description. The camera is NOT mint b...ut this is a very nice example. Comes with the original wrist strap.
Mechanical Condition:
All the shutter speeds appear and sound correct although they have not been tested for accuracy. The light meter has a modern 675 cell which seems to be a good replacement for the original mercury batteries that are no longer made. The meter responds to light but has not been tested for accuracy. All other mechanical features of the camera are functioning well however the camera has not been film-tested so performance can not be guaranteed.
