For sale is a dinner size hollow handle table knife in seldom-seenROCOCO pattern by George W. Shiebler, introduced in 1888. The knife is 10 1/8 inches long with a bluntsilverplated steel blade and a 4 3/8 inch hollow sterling handle. It has not been monogrammed. The knife is marked “STERLING” on one side ofthe handle.<P>Condition on the knife is fair. The blade has some plate loss around the edgesand minor rust, with some more substantial corrosion at ...the bolster. The handle is in surprisingly goodshape. Still an exceptionally rare item ina fine old pattern.<P>
