Original Description:
A beautiful, Persian dish, with classic alkaline copper turquoise fluid glazing.Decorated with wonderfully lively scraffitto through a white slip to a red/buff body with dynamic abstract floral drawings.The dish is thrown & then the rim cut to form the nine sided shape.Perhaps Kashan, 19thC?
It displays very well.Unmarked, as is usual for these wares.Condition: it has been repaired at the rim, but not very visable (see photos)
