Offered here is a very rare EARLY Dedham Pottery 8.5" LOBSTAH with Seaweed plate. It's very nicely decorated with fine details. The color is a deep cobalt. the condition is GOOD+++. There is a flat, shallow chip on the back (picture 4) and a few rough spots along the rim and a faint firing line (about 1.5") which can't be felt with a fingernail nor seen on the front.
