Stunning Rare 24 inch (61cm) Antique French
DEP JUMEAU (I was told by a doll collector that
she is a Jumeau & not a Eden Bebe By Fleischmann & Bloedel.)

However she is a still an amazing doll.This amazing doll is mechanical.
She has a working string that when pulls she cries.
She has another hole in her body with no string &
I am not sure if it was suppose to have string.
This lovely doll is all original even her clothing.
She has her original glass blown sark brown sleep eyes
with lashes.
Her lashes are thining a little & her eyes are a little off center.
They can be reset but the eye mechanism is in great shape.
Her face paint is stunning.
Her bisque head has no damage.
She has pierced ears & she wears little pearl earrings.
She wears her original short human hair wig.
Her wood body is in very nice condition as well.
It does have a few little paint or thin composition chips
but nothing that damages the body parts.
It is normal wear.
She has all her fingers & toes.
This is one unique & gorgeous doll.
I wanted to restring her but
I have never restrung a mechanical doll.
I would love to learn how.
She is so much nicer then her photos.
She does not come up for sale very often.
I read she is a must have for any antique doll collector.
This beautiful doll has a blonde human hair wig
She has beautiful dark brown glass blown rocker eyes.
Her eyes have lashes that are thinning.
I did not add a photo of her sleep eyes
but if you need it please ask & I will send it.She is 24" (61cm) tall.
She has a bisque head & a wood body covered with composition.
Her body is very different from most composition bodies.
She has a Mama cryer that works by
pulling the string on the left side of her body.
I did restring her arms so they have perfect tension
but I did not know how to tighten the head & legs. Sorry.
She is dressed in a European folk style dress.
It is made extremely well.
She wears a off white slip dress under
a bright red print jumper type dress with a off white apron
& pantaloons & neck scarf.
She has her original knit socks & black antique shoes.
She also have a straw hat but I don't thing is is antique.
