When the Rail Road went bankrupt in 1950, the ...building was sold to the Carson Masonic Lodge #1 F&AM in 1952 and turned into a Masonic Lodge. The western part of the building was orginally the passenger waiting area, then offices for the Masonic Lodge and then converted into retail space.
