Please notice this is a quilt TOP: it is NOT a finished quilt or bedspread, as there is no batting and no backing beneath the pieced fabrics shown in the photos.
The fabrics are 100% cotton, vintage all of them, including one or two that might be feed sacks (the green one, for example, near the corners of the pattern).
The white fabric used for the squares have some numbers printed on them; we found 2 with numbers, shown on pics # 10 and 11, but it might be more that we did...n't see.
The piecing was done mostly by hand, but for a handful of areas where the makers used a sewing machine. On close-up # 12 of the underside you see both types of stitching, hand and machine.
It measures 85" by 77" across; the bed is a queen, 80" by 60".
