Up for your consideration is a beautifully embroidered cultural tribal Suzani textile. Traditionally, Suzani textiles were made for use as part of a bride's dowry. Uzbeki women would begin the laborious task of embroidering the textile at the time of a girl's birth, and after her marriage the textile would be used as a coverlet for her bridal bed.
