Early quarter repeating verge watch by Vacheron Constantin in silver case. Circa 1820.
The movement is signed by Vacheron Constantin in Geneve and bears low serial number 15910.
Please note that balance bridge ornament make V.A.C.H.E.R.O.N & C
The dial and the dust cover are signed by Vacheron & Constantin.
On the Antiquorum auction in Geneva in 1999 was sold very similar repeating watch numbered 16611 dated to 1823-1825.
The watch from Antiquorum... also had same specific balance bridge decorated with VACHERON monogram.
The sale price was 6325 Swiss francs.
The similar watch with very similar signature on the dial is shown in the book of Franco Cologni - "The Secrets of Vacheron Constantin: 250 Years of History".
High quality production of known company.

Condition is quite ok.
Case has common period wear, nothing special to note.
The dial seems to be in good condition, without visible flaws.
The movement is in good running condition.
Repetition works as it should.
Mineral glass, original 'lozenge' hands.
