T...his Model A has no mechanical issues at all, only cosmetic ones. The clearing lever is bent, but doesn’t hit the case and works perfectly. If you look at the metal dust cover, specifically the dent that bulges outward on the right side, you can see how the clearing lever got bent. Someone shipped the calculator inside its dust cover with inadequate padding between the two. Also, you can see spots of rust, and one large patch on the right hand side, making it through the copper plating on the case in many places. The original glass plate on the front broke, and this one is a replacement. As for function, everything works fine. All the keys work, carry works everywhere, and the long-throw clearing lever works: rotate it 120 degrees towards the rear, then pull it back to the front. Both movements perform part of the clearing.
