Cool Alpine White with Tortoise Shell PG, of which I haven't seen too many. The Alpine White looks to be a re-finish. Nicely done, very early in its existence.
In 2008 I had it re-fretted with Stock Width Fret wire along with a switch to a vintage Mustang Bridge. Pots have been was replaced with NOS at one point in its history.
Tremolo Tip has also been replaced. Also of note is that the tuners m...ay have been replaced at some time. You can see a screw hole barely peaking out at the top of the tuner. The neck is dated 10-60.
Included are the Original Bridge and the remains of Original Tone Pot dated 1960.
Great shape for it's age and plays well. The PG has shrunk which is common, and has therefore lifted in a few places. Bottom screw is also missing on PG.
The case, which is structurally sound, but a bit rough dates from around 1963.
This was previously listed as a 1959. A collector examined it and came to the conclusion that it is a 1960 due to the neck and pot dates. He also observed the Alpine white is a refinish.
I've received a few requests for pictures of the Neck and Neck Pocket, so I just removed the neck and added two pictures. So the perfect action is on you now...
Check it out.

OK. So I've had a bunch of watchers on this, yet no bids. Therefore, I've dropped the price a bit. You should really buy it. You won't be disappointed!
