You are bidding on a vintage Edward vom Hofe Fly Reel. This is the Restigouche model salmon fly reel (model 423) in a size 6/0. The reel is in excellent condition and has not been cleaned or polished (will leave that to the new owner). It is 4-1/4" in diameter and the spool is 1-3/4" in width. It is single action and designed for right hand retrieve. The tail plate side features a seven position drag adjustment with red indicator dots, and a sliding oil po...rt cover with the May 20, '02 patent date. Also features a sliding click on the handle side, with roller pillars at 3 o'clock and at 9 o'clock and a full length nickel silver foot having a model and size stamp. Blemish-free hard rubber side plates. Aluminum spool and nickel silver rolled rims.
