Allis Chalmers 160 Diesel40 HP built form 1970 to 1975serial number 140708, the tractor has a wide front, good working power steering, three point hitch, PTO, foot throttle, and differential lock that does work, the clutch, brakes and transmission all work good, it has 6 forward gears with HI/LO giving it 12 forward gears and two reverse, the seat is in good condition, the engine runs good and does not smoke, also has a drawbar hitch, this tractor has been stored in a shed for ove...r 20 years covered with a tarp, only ran a few times, still ahs the original tach. which works and only reads 3815.5 hours, the sheet metal is very nice and solid, the fenders are very solid with some dings, the three point tries to go up but wont I was told it is probably a plunger or a stuck valve from sitting, rear rims are good, the rear tires are 14.9/28 at 60% tread and I nice condition a little checking but nice tires, the wide front is good, it does run good, if I put my charger on it it usually starts, if you pull it 3 feet it fires right up, this is a hard to find little tractor only 5597 total built, this tractor needs to be used and worked, it will make someone a nice little utility tractor, I am starting it low and selling it NO RESERVE.
