Here is a beautiful 24" antique closed mouth bebe marked 136 and size 10. I believe she is a an early German Sonnenberg bebe head on French body to compete with the French marketHer head is a lovely peach, delicately painted with lip outline in the French manner with a Bru type space between her lips. Very unusual. She has gorgeous fixed dark blue paperweight eyes in their original set. Her wig is still attached to her head and is human hair braided in a country child's updo. She... has pierced ears but with no earrings. She is on a marked chunky fixed wrist early Jumeau body (EJ type) with the blue stamp as well as the remnants of a French label.She wears antique underwear and a pink silk dress that is a little faded. She has old white socks and shoes though the shoes are splitting a bit at the soles. This is a lovely and unusual bebe to add to your collection.
