An adorable well-loved girl doll for your collection or restoration project. She looks very cute on a shelf in a shabby chic room or studio and makes for a great conversation piece.
She is possibly from the 1920s or 1930s. She is unmarked. She is rather small and compact at approx. 11 1/2" tall.While in solid condition for her age, there are some issues- please read and look at the photos. The doll has some cracks and chips all over, as shown, as well as some compos...ition and paint loss. Some of her fingers are missing. Nothing serious that can't be restored if you want but she also looks great as is as the age gives her more character. She is jointed, her stringing is good, she sits and positions well and her limbs move with ease mimicking a real baby's moves. She came wearing a yellow 2-piece dress made from what feels like thin stiff cotton. The dress has condition issues as well, rips and holes as shown in photos, as well as a stain. It's hard to tell is it's home-made of factory made, but it's well-made and fits her perfectly. She also wears a white flannel diaper, possibly a later add-on by a previous owner.All issues considered, she is still a precious little thing and joy to have around.
