WWII Japanese Type 99 Tokyo Arsenal Bayonet with Dual MarkingsOffered here for display or re-enactment is an original WWII Japanese Bayonet to fit the Arisaka Type 99 military bolt rifle. This bayonet is all original. The blade is marked with the Tokyo Arsenal marking. There was some dried oil on the base of blade and when cleaned revealed an additional  small Japanese character beneath it. We are not sure of this marking. The blade is in fine condition with no rust or just a ...few minor spots. The scabbard retains almost all of its finish however has three small shallow dents on one side. The wood is fine with no dents or gouges.
